WORK is well underway on the $26,000 upgrade to Delungra’s ANZAC Park.

A NEW wall for ashes has been unveiled at Delungra cemetery, thanks to the hard work of locals.

DELUNGRA Cemetery will soon be adding another element to the serene setting, nestled in the countryside. The gates which formerly stood at the entry will be re-installed on Sunday, February 1 with a ceremony at 10am.

Upwards of 100 top contending yard dogs from trainers and owners across the state converged on Delungra Show-ground on the weekend for the first of what co-ordinator Dave Wilkinson hopes will become an annual event.

Delungra Yard Dog Trials are to be held at the Delungra Sports Ground on September 27-28.
