Australia Day was well supported by the community who enjoyed a day on the sports ground in Delungra.

The annual parade featured vintage cars and trucks, decorated bicycles, Rural Fire Service vehicles, Charlie Allen in his light horse uniform and Amelia riding side saddle.

The Delungra District Development Council was pleased to welcome Peta Blyth as the 2020 Australia Day ambassador.

Delungra CWA had a wonderful display and also were presented with the Community Award.

Delungra Primary school were awarded the Environment Award for their koala rescue program.

Sports person of the year was Mitchell Stewart. Shae and Chelsea Raw were awarded Junior Citizens of the year. Ella Shephard was Citizen of the Year.
