Forty-four shooters competed in the 31st Metallic Silhouette 200m Big Bore National Championships held over the weekend in Delungra.
Inverell shooter and match director, Glen Anderson, said the weather warmed up nicely after a cool start but windy conditions posed a challenge for all competitors.
“People came from far and wide to join the competition but the atmosphere was friendly despite the national titles at stake,” Mr Anderson said.
Next challenge for the local pistol club will be hosting the small bore nationals in March next year.
