Music muster on Delungra farm
1st of Oct, 2015 12:16 pm

The North West Music Muster is a country music festival in Wyoming Lavender Estate in Delungra on the October long weekend.

“We’re a small lavender farm that’s just starting, we wanted to bring people to the region to benefit everybody,” Sharyn Mills said. She said that the aim of the festival was to promote the area and showcase the region.

“We’re providing a laidback family weekend with great music from local acts, as well as Tamworth and Sydney,” she said.

There will be live music from 10am to midnight. The weekend will feature Rough Stack, Jimmy Craz Band, Allison Forbes, Brett Clark and Scotty Troutman among others. Inverell High School’s Teagan Hodges will also be performing.

A TV lounge will be set up for football enthusiasts to watch the grand final. There will also be jumping castles and face painting for children.

Symes buses will be running from Inverell and through Delungra. Anyone interested in this service are asked to register their interest at the Tourist Information Centre. The event is on October 3-4 at Wyoming Lavender Estate, Mt Russell Road. Tickets are $25 a day if bought beforehand, $30 at the door. They can be bought from moshtix.com.au or from the Inverell Tourist Information Centre and Sapphire City Bakery.
