Women who have influenced guest speaker Peta Blyth’s life was the topic of a speech for an International Women’s Day function at the Inverell RSM Club on Friday.

Inverell co-ordinator of Clean Up Australia Day, Terry Cum, was happy with the effort made on Sunday, but hoped to see more Inverell people involved in future years.

With Inverell’s Opera in the Paddock being added to the Australian Government Culture and Recreation Portal website, the event is now being promoted more widely than ever.

THIS month’s Opera in the Paddock at Delungra has received a $30,000 boost from the Department of State and Regional Development.
