THREE fire tankers were officially handed over to the Inverell and Delungra Rural Fire Service (RFS) brigades on Wednesday. At the same ceremony the new Inverell RFS station worth $62,000 was opened.

TWO young girls from Delungra, Zarniah Wood and Hannah Dean, were rewarded for all their hard work on Australia Day.

Delungra just managed to get over the line for a one-wicket win in their home game against Sunset Dreamers last weekend. 

More than 40 landholders turned out for the Farming Efficiency & Innovation Field Day held recently at the Ballinger family’s property at Delungra.  

This week four students from Delungra Public School are attending the State Athletics in Sydney representing our school and New England Region.
