Farmers get drought aid heads-up
19th of May, 2010 11:00 am

More than 100 farmers from the Delungra, Barraba, Bingara and Warialda districts attended a drought meeting at the Delungra Bowling Club last night.

Representatives from local Livestock Health and Pest Authorities, Centrelink and Industry & Investment spoke to producers about the data they must collect before lodging an application for Exceptional Circumstances drought funding.

Inverell-based Nationals' Senator John Williams says it appears the situation is becoming increasingly desperate for some.
