7th of Mar, 2008 01:40 pm

THE Inverell District Cricket Association semi-finals are on tomorrow.

In first grade, Oxfords take on Staggy Creek at McCosker Oval at 1pm and minor-premiers Aussies play Royals Rats at Varley Oval from 3pm.

After the association had a meeting on Wednesday night, the semi-finals for second and third grade were decided.

Second grade minor-premiers Ashford will go straight to the grand final next weekend and tomorrow Delungra are up against Bundarra at Delungra in the semi-finals.

In third grade, RSM 2 are in the grand final and Royal Rogues play Oxfords 2 at 1pm at Brooks Oval tomorrow.

The third grade grand final is at Cameron 1 next Saturday at 1pm, second grade is at Brooks at 1pm and the first grade is at Varley Oval from 3pm.

Secretary-treasurer Amanda Woodbury said the presentations for second and third grade would be on from 6pm at Varley Oval during the first grade lunch break.

“Logistics wise we came to the decision it was a lot easier to have all the grand finals in town, so when the presentation was on it would be easier,” Woodbury said.

The first grade presentation will be after the grand final.

Awards to be handed out include the Club Championship Shield, inter-district awards, Bannockburn Shield best U-19 and the Bert Lowry Trophy for best U-17s.
