BRENDON Campbell was the star batsman for the weekend's round two of senior cricket.
He batted through much of his innings before the final over robbed him of a century for 97 not out.
But the effort spurred the Oxford Rebels on to a win over 2004 premiers Aussies.
Oxford second batsman Dave Mudaliar was also a major contributor to his side's 3-191 victory, scoring 50.
Little separated the sides bowling efforts, but Aussies could not compete with Campbell's batting prowess falling short of Oxfords total with just 8-112.
Meanwhile Staggy Creek was busy defeating Royal Rats 172-155.
The Rats went in first, with Dave Kent pushing the tally up with a solid batting effort of 51.
But Staggy Creek chased down the Rats innings thanks to a hard 58 runs from Nathan Bell, with little resistance but the efforts of Rats top bowler Cecil Readitt who took 3 for 31.
Meanwhile RSM conceded its first defeat of the season to Delungra with a narrow difference of 151-171.
RSM's batsmen went out first with a consistent effort and 22 sundries on their side.
Delungra also picked up 22 sundries but a cool 52 from second batsman Kieran Hasselman gave the side the advantage it needed for the 20 point win.
