TWO small country clubs are the major beneficiaries of the Inverell RSM Club's new synthetic bowling green.
The RSM club has donated equipment it no longer needs to the Tingha Sport and Recreation Club and the Delungra Bowling Club.
"Equipment previously used to mow and maintain the green grass has become surplus to our needs and the board of the club has decided to give parts of this equipment to the smaller bowling clubs in our district," RSM club president Jacko Ross said.
The bowling green mower and a sand spreader have been sent to the Tingha club, while the irrigation pipe and associated equipment has been given to Delungra.
"The board of the RSM club realise we have many members from these smaller communities that visit and support our club and we are only too pleased to be able to help them out in some way," Mr Ross said.
