Delungra Yard Dog Trials are to be held at the Delungra Sports Ground on September 27-28.

We are fortunate enough to have the current Australian Champion, Sarah Mortimer from Dirranbandi and the current NSW Champion, Justin Tombs from Armidale competing on the Sunday. This will ensure some of the best dogs in Australia will be on display.

Starting off on the Saturday morning the Maiden trial will commence at 8am, followed by the Local trial at lunchtime.  

For a gold coin donation you can enjoy a barbecue lunch with proceeds going towards ‘Beyond Blue’, a great initiative aimed at providing support and awareness for farmers suffering from depression.

The Novice trial will start on Saturday afternoon and continue into Sunday. The Open trial will be the final event of the day. 

On Saturday night the Delungra Hotel will host the Dog High Jump.  Those interested in entering will be vying for the top male dog score, top female dog score and the fastest time. You can also enjoy a great meal and live entertainment afterward.
