Opera in the Paddock hit all the right notes on Saturday night with a crowd of 1500 flocking to 'Mimosa', Delungra.
Visitors travelled from Melbourne, Queensland and even the United States to experience the intern-ationally recognised event.
Organiser Peta Blyth said it was well-received by the audience.
"It couldn't have been better," she said. "The artists enjoyed it. We had many people from far away."
Next year will see the 10th Opera in the Paddock, to be held March 19.
"It'll be huge," Peta said. "It's going to be a big celebration of 10 years.'
Inverell Clay Target Club's Northern Zone Continental Carnival and a cycling criterium were also held in town over the weekend, boosting the number of visitors to Inverell even higher.
"Each year Opera in the Paddock fills the motels and coffee houses in town," Ann Clydsdale, Tourism Officer at Inverell Tourism Inform-ation Centre, said.
Ann said that Inverell could expect more visitors during the next couple of months.
"Traditionally Easter is a good weekend for weddings and reunions. It's a beautiful time of year."
