The artists performing at tomorrow night's Opera in the Paddock joined with the Mimosa Chamber Orchestra in Town Hall on Wednesday afternoon for rehearsals.
Opera in the Paddock will be held at Mimosa Delungra and is expected to draw an audience of over 1000.
It will be an evening of arias and ensembles from opera, operetta and musicals presented by some of Australia's finest performers.
NSW Minister for Tourism Jodi McKay has highlighted the significance of the weekend concert.
"Meanwhile, the Opera in the Paddock concert will see around 1750 music lovers head to the New England North West region on Saturday," she said yesterday when highlighting some of the top events happening around the State this weekend.
"The concert offers 22 of the country's most talented opera singers and instrumentalists performing in a paddock on a local property near Inverell.
"This outdoor event will feature the superb voices of internationally renowned Australian artists, tenor Rosario La Spina and baritone David Wakeham."
Gates will open at 4pm with performances starting at 7pm.
Tickets are $55 for an adult and $25 for students and children.
