Armidale hosted a visit from Uralla with a victory to the locals by five matches to one.
Individual winner in A-grade was Baxter Ward with 42 points from Doug Jeffrey with 41 points. B-grade winner was Graham Cowen with 41 points from John Trestrail with 39 points.
Nearest the pins were Mark Faulkner on the fourth hole and Peter Richardson on the 11th and the ball comp went down to 33 points.
Sunday
TWENTY-TWO players braved the conditions and the winner with five-over was Paul Healy.
The ball comp went down to -2 on a countback.
Thursday
The pro-shop stableford winner was Jim Sheedy with 41 points from Pat Coupland with 40 points and Ian Cooper with 38 on a countback.
Nearest the pin on the seventh hole was Greg Gilbert and the ball comp went down to 33 points on a countback.
Tuesday
The veterans’ stableford winner was Max Browning with 42 points from Greg Fisher with 37 points and Ian Garske with 36 points.
The ball comp went down to 33 points on a countback and the nine-hole winner was Ken House with 18 points on a countback from John Hewitt.
A reminder to all players that next Tuesday’s last tee times for the vets’ comp will be 9.30am due to a corporate golf day having the course booked out.
